Fran Travis singer Fran Healy, honestly solo tour begins
At last a solo singer who does and does not embark on the futile task of pretending that any of us to swallow his solo project is different from his band.
After more than 15 years as the leader of the Scottish rockers Travis, Fran Healy is making his solo debut with 'Wreckorder "which goes on sale on October 5 . And here the best part said, "This album, compared to all other discs, I have to be honest, is exactly the same." "All Travis albums are my songs, so that each album is a collection of songs. My songs are always so personal that I always well understood. "
Each time someone makes solo, fans were worried about the future of the band. Well, Travis fans can relax - Healy actually got permission from the rest of the band to go on their own. "We reached the end of our tour last year and everyone was a little burnt and needed a break, but I really did not want to stop," he says. "So, I asked everyone if you could make a record."
"There comes a point where it naturally occurs to the main songwriter of banda: Hey, I like to try and work with other musicians. I try to do a duet with them or do my thing, so for me it's just a logical step. " Particularly
I think Travis has great songs, beautiful, and I appreciate a lot for a character reference in the music does not put the mask of so many other singers and say things like: he is the main songwriter for the band, their new album will sound very similar to Travis and he did it because I wanted to play with other musicians. Come and tell the truth never hurt anyone.
