The Women's Institute has conducted a study on Women and Health in Spain with the aim of analyzing the current situation women from a broad concept of health, to know the diseases that affect them, to describe health differences between women and men and identify or problems requiring additional research efforts.
With a life expectancy of 78'2 83'5 years for men, we note that in relation to age:
increases:
- perception of ill health diseases
- chronic limitation of daily activities disability and dependency
- the percentage of ex-smokers
- consumption of vegetables and fruits
- the percentage of women vaccinated against influenza
- control blood pressure and cholesterol
- doctor visits, hospital revenue
- drug use decreases

and do not change or does not refer to:
- cause mortality
- domestic violence alcohol
